Anatolie Coșciug is a PhD candidate at Bielefeld University, Germany. His doctoral research project focuses on the transnational trade of second-hand goods imported from Western Europe to Eastern Europe and is supervised by Thomas Faist (Bielefeld University) and Alejandro Portes (Princeton University).

He is also a research assistant within the Department of Political Science at Babeș-Bolyai University, Romania, where he is involved in research projects on Romanian migration.
