Bogdan Radu

Bogdan Radu is a lecturer in Political Science and obtained a PhD from the University of California, Irvine in 2007 and a Master’s degree in European Politics from the University of Manchester in 2001. His research interests include topics in comparative politics and international relations. Bogdan Radu has written several articles published in academic journals on topics related to political and religious values in transitional democracies in Central and Eastern Europe and East Asia, the political culture of young people in Romania, and attitudes toward the political system. In the last year, Bogdan Radu has initiated research on the topic of political culture in international relations, a little-studied and interdisciplinary topic. Within the Department of Political Science, Bogdan Radu teaches courses on Introduction to International Relations and Theories of International Relations, and a course on Economic Development and Democratic Transition in Taiwan. Bogdan Radu is also responsible for the master’s program in International Development, which began in 2010.
