Corina Murafa is an energy policy expert with several years of experience in multinational companies, international organizations, and think tanks. She has served as a consultant for the World Bank and the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, the Ministry of Public Finance, and other institutions, while also collaborating with the Ministry of Energy, the United Nations Development Programme, Deloitte, OMV Petrom, the Romanian Academic Society, and others. Her main areas of expertise include European energy affairs, corporate governance of state-owned enterprises, and energy consumer rights. She studied in Bucharest, Berlin, and New York, holding a Master’s degree in European Economic Policy from the Hertie School of Governance. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with research focusing on instruments for attracting investment in the energy sector at the European Union level.
